Hawaii Photos
July 15, 2009.,
I fell in love with the island of Kauai the first time I visited twelve years ago and every time I go back I am amazed at the beauty, lushness and tranquility of this place. By the time I leave I feel transformed; very relaxed and happy. Last month, Ed and I went to Kauai to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and we had a great time hiking, baskin in the sun, enjoying the deep blue skies, the fresh air, the shave ice and the slow pace of life. I miss it already and I can’t wait to go back.

After a bumpy four wheel drive on a muddy, rugged road, we got to this stream.

The Nu’alolo trail is a strenuous hike but definitely worth it; the views are spectacular.

Sergio Photographer and Rodolfo Arpia-workshop
June 09, 2009.,
Last week I attended a workshop hosted by two amazing photographers, Sergio Photographer and Rodolfo Arpia. Sergio Photographer is a wedding photographer based in Arizona and the creator of amazingly beautiful images which wow me every time I see them and inspire me to be a better photographer.
In addition to being an amazing and successful wedding photographer, Rodolfo Arpia is also the founder of Foro de Fotografos, a spanish photography forum connecting spanish speaking photographers all over the world.
Sergio and Rodolfo provided a two day workshop packed with information, personal experiences, encouragement and support. I have never been to a workshop where the presenters gave 100% of themselves, were willing to answer every question and worked very long days back to back. Although we were there for over 12 hours each day, it didn’t feel long and I would have liked to stay longer.
Thank you so much guys; I was truly inspired and I am excited to put into practice what I learned.
I also enjoyed meeting and spending time with other fellow photographers who attended the workshop, you know who you are.
